‘Achills’- son of peleus
and Nereid thetis was the strongest of all Greeks in the famous Trojan war. His
mother had dipped him in the river, holding him by the heel when he was very
young. As a result, thus body was immune to any kind of hunt by swords, arrows
etc. But only his heel was unprotected. Thus ,’Achilles heel’- stands for a
weak spot in one’s personality.
